Seabed 2030 announces new partnership on World Hydrography Day

The Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Seabed 2030 Project has entered a technical cooperation agreement with the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO), a world-leading centre for hydrography specialising in marine geospatial data, and Teledyne CARIS, the leading developer of marine mapping software.

The Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Training Program 2021-2022

The Nippon Foundation of Japan has provided funding for GEBCO to train a new generation of scientists and hydrographers in ocean bathymetry. The 12-month course, leading to a Postgraduate Certificate in Ocean Bathymetry (PCOB), has been held at the University of New Hampshire, USA, since 2004.
